- 1 Roast the peanuts, then coarsely crush them (don't let them turn into a paste)
- 2 Beat the margarine and powdered sugar together until well combined
- 3 Add the egg and vanilla, and mix well
- 4 Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt
- 5 Mix into the batter along with the crushed peanuts
- 6 Stir until the dough can be shaped
- 7 Take a small portion of dough, roll into a ball, then flatten slightly
- 8 Arrange on a baking sheet, then press with a fork to make a pattern
- 9 Brush with the egg yolk and milk mixture
- 10 Bake in the oven at 160ยฐC (320ยฐF) for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown
